Peppers Convent, Hunter Valley is famous as the Hunters most serene and exclusive guest house. With only 17 guest rooms, it exudes an atmosphere of intimacy, relaxation and pure indulgence, all within an easy 2 hour drive north of Sydney. Orginally built in 1909, the Convent has been faithfully restored. Peppers Convent is the ideal location from which to explore the vineyards of Hunter Valley Wine Country.

Deluxe guest room with queen bed. Rooms have a French taroque flavour with a constant symbol of cherubs, angels, gilt and toiles du jour. All rooms open onto a wide verandah overlooking the surrounding vineyards.

Directions

Sydney International Airport: N

From the airport follow the National 1 freeway north from Wahroonga, taking the Cessnock exit. Continue through Cessnock and leaving via Allandale Rd. Follow the signs to Pokolbin Vineyards area. After passing Cessnock Airport, turn left into Broke Rd. Proceed for approximately 3km where you will turn left into Halls Rd.

Newcastle Airport: W

From the airport turn right and right again at the runabout towards Hexham. After the Hexham bridge turn right onto the New England Highway and follow until the town of Branxton, turn left here and follow road to Pokolbin until you reach Broke Rd. Proceed for approximately 3km where you will turn left into Halls Rd.
