Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour is located in the very heart of Sydney and within an easy stroll of the citys major tourist attractions where you will find Sydneys liveliest entertainment. Consisting of two buildings that offer a total of 40 fully serviced one bedroom apartments. The Sussex Street property has 30 mezzanine apartments with enormous cathedral windows to take advantage of the Darling Harbour views. The King Street property has 10 apartments with access to a rooftop swimming pool. All apartments are fully serviced and fully equipped for your comfort. Check-in is at Sussex Street for all apartments. All apartments at Metro Apartments on Darling Harbour are non smoking however smoking permitted on balcony of each apartment. Each apartment has a balcony with spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. With all rooms providing air conditioned comfort plus clock radio alarm and direct dial phones as well as TV and complimetary Foxtel. Metro Apartments Darling Harbour now is specializing in corporate clients. We now have 32' LCD TV's and 28 foxtel channels to all rooms. There are approximately 12 steep steps leading into the building and internal stairs in the Sussex Street property. Also there is Wireless internet to all rooms.

Directions

Follow signs for City centre and Sussex Street. Sussex street is a two way street outside hotel but from King Street south it is one-way running north to south.

Self contained apartments for self catering. No restaurant on site but our staff are happy to recommend a huge selection of nearby restaurants and cafes with many different cuisines. Cuisine Courier and Moving Menus will deliver restaurant meals to your apartment upon ordering.

Area Attractions

Shopping is close by at Darling Harbour and the Queen Victoria Building shopping centre and Pitt Street Mall. The immediate area has cafes and restaurants. The famous Darling Harbour and Sydney Aquarium are 2 minutes walk away and Chinatown and the Paddy Markets about 10 minutes walk. Cinema complexes are in George Street 10 minutes walk. Hyde Park and the Botannical Gardens are 10 and 15 minutes walk away respectively. Local tours of Sydney and its tourist highlights can be arranged by the hotel with pick up from the front door.

Fitness First commercial gymnasiums is available within minutes walk of the property. Also guests can swim at the Aquatic Centre on the corner of William and College Streets. Golf can be arranged by the hotel at Moore Park Golf Club 15 minutes from the hotel by taxi. Guests can walk through Hyde Park and the Botannical Gardens.
