The Ocean Club

Perched above the beach on the South Shore, the Ocean Club (formerly the Whaler Inn) is a seafood lovers delight. The menu includes only the freshest fish, delivered by our local fishermen each day. Bermuda Aquarium, Natural History Museum and Zoo

Tours start at the North Rock Exhibit with a diver-in-the tank interactive talk, continuing to the harbor seal feeding, onto the flamingo exhibit, the lemurs and into the very latest area, the Australasian, featuring animals from those islands.

Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute

The exhibits are designed to acquaint the visitor with the mysteries of the ocean, the latest research and creatures of the deep.

Botanical Gardens

Browse over the 1,000 varieties of plants and flowers - both common and uncommon - seen around the island, such as hibiscus, oleander and some endemics, on your guided tour. Group tours are available. Visit also the official residence of Bermuda's Premier.

Crystal Caves/Fantasy Caves

The Crystal Caves and Fantasy Caves in Hamilton Parish are known for its natural limestone cave formations. Guides will escort you, mainly to ensure that you do not touch the formations. The caves are named for their subterranean pools of incredibly clear water. If you look down, you'll see the bottom, 55 feet below, through incredibly clear turquoise waters.

Historical British Forts

Bermuda has dozens of historic forts still standing. They are superb cultural, historical and scenic attractions in every way. The largest concentration is in St. George's, which has been proclaimed World Heritage Treasure by United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Town of Hamilton

The town center of Bermuda's capital city is only a 5-minute walk from The Fairmont Hamilton Princess (and a free ferry ride from the Fairmont Southampton). The Hamilton Harbor is one of the most beautiful in the world. Be sure also to visit the Yacht Club area and the excellent shopping on Front Street. History-loving guests will enjoy the wide array of historical buildings.

Bermuda Maritime Museum

Shipwrecks, boat building, whaling, privateering and the Royal Navy were all part of Bermuda's maritime history. Located at The Keep, Royal Naval Dockyard.

The Beach Club is situated on one of Bermuda's finest beaches, a secluded pink sandy and private cove, a 5-minute walk or 1-minute trolley ride. Amenities include chaise lounges, towels, umbrellas, lockers, shower, scuba diving and snorkeling equipment available at extra charge, six tennis courts, Cabana Bar and fast-food restaurant, as well as Whaler Inn restaurant.

Watersports

Water sports arrangements can be made through independent concessionaires for all types of water sports, including Jet Ski, Sports fishing, Scuba diving, Snorkeling and Sailing.

Tennis

The Fairmont Southampton facilities include 6 tennis courts, 3 of which are lit for night play. All tennis courts are located at the Beach Club.

Golf

The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course features 18 challenging par-3 holes. Taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings and dramatic elevation changes, this 2,684-yard course forces prudent club selection, with wind a definite factor. In addition, the club offers a practice green and complete Pro shop, as well as golf lessons for beginners. Club and shoe rentals are available. Guests of The Fairmont Southampton also have exclusive access to the championship golf course at Riddell's Bay, Bermuda's oldest private golf club. This par-70 golf course is both a challenge to your game and your camera with stunning views surrounding every hole.

Pools

The Fairmont Southampton features one outdoor heated pool, open 24 hours a day, and one indoor heated spa pool, reserved for guests of the Willow Stream Spa. No lifeguards on duty.

Dolphin Quest

A unique and unforgettable in-water 'encounter' with bottlenose dolphins. The Dolphin Encounter are located at the Lagoon of the Maritime Museum, at the Dockyard.
