Take 880 North to 80 West. Cross the Bay Bridge and take 101 South. Exit S. Airport Blvd. Turn Right at the bottom of the exit. Go through the stoplight and turn Right, behind Lyons restaurant.

Blowfish

Great sushi served in a sleek space dominated by space-age lights and animation cells. The Food Inventive starters and solidly good (but not outstanding) sushi fill the menu, with a few grilled and teriyaki items thrown in for the seafood-phobic. Fresh salads and flavorful chicken potstickers stand out. The many, many maki combine every kind of sushi in imaginative rolls. The eponymous "blowfish" is the Northern Pufferfish, a cousin of the infamous tiger fugu consumed in Japan. Eating the California version has none of the danger (it has no poisonous parts), but some of the sticker-shock (29.95 USD for one serving) of its Japanese kin.
