Room Information

Buckhorn
The outdoorsman in you will be cut loose in this rustic room appointed with Colorado d?cor. This room sleeps four with its Queen size bed complete with a hand painted headboard and the bunk bed with down coverlets. All beds have reading lights and its branch wood chairs compliment the rustic table in the room. The room has a large closet, a dresser and a private bath with two sinks and a shower to provide that extra outdoor room to breath. In 1935 just 700 people called Aspen home but international outdoorsman came to the Roaring Fork Valley to hunt, fly fish, ski and to hike the many beautiful mountain passes in the area, thus the name Buckhorn for this fitting room. Sit back and enjoy sweeping views of Red and Smuggler Mountain
Ruthie's Run
Climb the original spiral staircase to the second of three original rooms built in 1888 with views of the inn?s Victorian garden. This room is uniquely appointed with antiques including an armoire closet, comfortable king sized iron bed with handmade coverlets and reading sconces. Slip into your own private bath with a whirlpool tub to relax at the end of your day. The room?s ceiling is vaulted with an octagon window in its peak capturing the morning sun. The room is named after Ruthie, the wife of one of the town?s most influential men, Darcy Brown, who would ultimately become the president of The Aspen Skiing Corporation.
Magnifico
Little Red?s executive suite, Magnifico, has the best view of Ajax Mountain overlooking the inn?s Victorian garden. This spacious room has a hand crafted and painted headboard fitted to a roomy king sized bed. Read your favorite book from the rooms sofa bed with green checked fabric accented by mountain print pillows. The sofa is complimented with an antique coffee table and a bead board closet. Set your laptop on the desk, which takes advantage of the superb views. This room comfortably sleeps four with a private bath including two sinks and a shower. Mike Magnifico, for who the room is named after as well as a run at Aspen?s Ajax Mountain, had a boot and shoe repair shop that became Aspen?s first ski shop. Mike made skis for the locals too.
Spar Gulch
The third of three original rooms built in 1888, this room is named from a ski run after the word spar, which means Uany of various?lustrous crystalline minerals.I You will surely find the gem in this room, complete with a private bath with a steam shower. Unique shelves accent the cathedral ceiling and its octagon window located in its western peak. A king-sized iron bed with handmade coverlets is inviting at the end of your event-filled day. Lie in bed and look out of the room's window, framed by Victorian drapes, with mountain views.
Gentleman's Ridge- Mens Bunk Beds.
Bunk up in Gentleman?s Ridge with male travelers from around the world in this room?s rustic pioneer d?cor with black and white coverlets. This is the second room that keeps Little Red?s spirit of affordability alive for its worldwide guests open to room sharing. The room?s two bunk beds sleep four and are complete with reading lights above each bed and private lockers. The table and chair near the window overlooks the lodge?s hot tub deck with vista views of Smuggler Mountain. This pioneer?s den is complete with a private bath with a shower and is also ideal for those families with extra children! Aspen historically has had its share of gentleman skiers. In 1946 Gary Cooper?s name could be found in the Aspen phone book and one can still see gentlemen skiing at Gentleman?s Ridge, one of Aspen?s famous double-diamond runs.

Baby Doe?s handcrafted and painted king size bed provides a true cabin feel. Nestled in the window area overlooking Smuggler Mountain is a table with two chairs for you and your travel companion. Relax sitting on the OBaby DoeO soft chair reading the morning paper. This room for two has a private bath with a tub and shower, a large closet and dresser. Elizabeth Bonduel McCourt OBaby DoeO Tabor, once a millionaire, died March 7, 1935 in virtual poverty. She and her husband Horace Tabor lived a glamorous life in Leadville, Colorado during the silver boom. When their famous Matchless Mine failed and the silver standard was revoked, they lost everything but their spirit.
Silver Bell
One of three original rooms built in 1888, this room is accented by a cathedral ceiling, capturing light through the octagon window in its peak. Prospector

This room is fit to entertain your friends in its roomy whirlpool tub for four located in your own private bath. Prospector is the only room that has a private exterior entrance in addition to its interior access and is fully handicap accessible. The name Prospector reflects the thousands of fortune seeks who arrived in Aspen to stake their claims or to work in the mines in the 1880s.

Little Annie is the most unique room in the lodge and is named for a mine just beyond Gold Hill on the south side of Aspen Mountain. You will find a full size sleeper in a loft just above a soft chair. This space is great for those adventurous spirits or children to sleep or Oplay.O Kick your feet up on the coffee table that accents the full sized red quilted sofa bed to read your favorite book or join your companions in conversation. This room sleeps four and is complete with a private bath with a steam shower. Combine Little Annie with Little Nell for those larger families or executives in need of extra meeting space.
