Directions

Durango Airport
From the Durango Airport take Hwy. 172 north to Route 160 then go east to the resort. The resort is 3 and a half miles west of Pagosa Springs.
Albuquerque Airport: N
Approx 3.5 hours. Exit from airport to I-25 N. Stay on Interstate 25 N to Santa Fe. Exit on Santa Fe Relief Route to hook onto 285 N. Take 285 N approx 30 miles to Espaola. Watch for signs to turn left and over the river to continue on 285 to Chama. Approx 1.5 hours. In Chama take a left onto Hwy 84 to Pagosa Springs. In Pagosa turn left on Hwy 160. Stay on Hwy 160 through town and continue west approx 3 miles. Pass Pagosa Lodge and turn right at light onto Pinon Causeway. Turn into the Fairfield guest reception.
Denver International Airport: SW
From Denver International. Approx 5.5 hours. Take Pena Blvd out of the airport to Interstate 70 west then south on Loop 470 to us 285. Take US 285 west toward Fairplay. Continue on 285 for about 200 miles. 23 miles south of Saguache, turn right on Colorado highway 112 to Del Norte. In Del Norte turn right on US 160 and follow to Pagosa Springs. Stay on Hwy 160 through the town and continue west approx 3 miles. Pass the Pagosa Lodge and turn right at traffic light onto Pinon Causeway. Turn right in to the Fairfield Pagosa guest reception parking area.

* Wolf Creek Ski Area gets the most snow in Colorado! Twenty-two runs from beginner to expert, with equipment rentals available, make it perfect for a whole family of ski bunnies. (25 miles) * Purgatory Ski Area, featuring "The hottest skiing in the West," is known for its sunshine, dry powder and abundant snowfall. (90 miles) * The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad is the finest remaining example of the original Denver and Rio Grande narrow gauge line which was built in the 1880s to serve miners and loggers. Runs from mid-May until mid-October. * Treasure Falls features a picturesque 100-foot-high mountain waterfall, just a short walk from its parking area.

Try the famous Healing Water at the Hot Springs. * Durango is an authentic old cowboy town now filled with arts, Native American crafts and excellent dining. (60 miles) * The famous early Indian dwellings are located at Chimney Rock Indian Ruins just 20 miles to the west. To the south are large Apache, Navajo and Ute Indian reservations open to the public. * Catch the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad for a memorable mountainside steam train ride through spectacular scenery. (60 miles)
