Nothing here is too fashionable or modern. Neo-romantic figurative paintings, with a watchful panther here, a horseman grappling with a roaring tiger there, comfortable moleskin settees and a library which is well stocked with books and magazines about Paris combine to give the hotel a unique style. It is decorated as a private house and is a haven of peace in the middle of Paris as well as a *pied a terre* where it is pleasant to live and stay.
