Located in an area of natural beauty, the Touring Hotel nestles in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles beside the River Sarthe, barely 200 kilometers from Paris, which is approximately 2.5 hours by car and 55 minutes by TGV from Le Mans. The 35 bedroomed hotel, peacefully situated alongside the River Sarthe amongst spectacular scenery, is the focus of local folklore. Tradition says it?s good luck for a bridegroom to carry his bride across the stepping stones over the river by the hotel, and if one of his feet touches the water his bride will be blessed with a child within a year. The hotel has a fully equipped indoor leisure centre, beautifully landscaped gardens, crazy golf and boules. Close by are outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, kayaks, tennis, golf, horse-riding and fishing, and there are many hiking trails in the surrounding countryside. The Touring Hotel?s restaurant enjoys a local reputation for fine food and wine offering set menus and gourmet dinners to suit all appetites. The live lobster tank enables guests to choose their perfect meal. The hotel is a popular venue for residential conferences, having five meeting rooms, and its tranquil setting allows for total concentration without distractions.
