The Convention Area: The Estrel Convention Centre The Estrel CC offers a state-of –the-art premises and technology for the staging of congress, conferences and events of all types and sizes. The multi-functional, fully climate-controlled Convention Centre, which opened in September 1999, offers a total of 15,000 square metres of useful space suitable for a wide array of events: international political and economical summits, exhibitions, trade fairs and other corporate events, gal occasions and concerts featuring international stars. The Convention Hall alone can accommodate up to 6000 guests. The glass bridge or ‘rotunda’ provides direct access to the hotel, the Estrel Saal (1050 sqm) and a further 60 conference rooms.
