This most conveniently located 18 bedroom Family Hotel was built in the 18th century by John Evans and named after the Duke of Gloucester. William Pitt. and many others have resided at 23 Gloucester Place. During the ownership of Mr & Mrs Jinnah the hotel has been consistently and carefully upgraded to maintain its historical value while providing modern day comforts. Individually designed rooms have en-suite facilities, direct dial phones with modem attachment, hospitality trays etc. Some rooms have 4 Poster Beds while others are large 4 Bedded Rooms. One Room has been divided into two, to create a self-contained suite ideal for a family with older children. In addition the Hotel has a cosy and nicely appointed dining room, where a choice of English and continental breakfast is served. For beverage, there is an old English Pub opposite the hotel. For Dinners, Baker Street (only a few minutes walk) has a wide variety of restaurants, ranging from Chinese, Greek, McDonalds, Steak House etc. Responsible use of Laundry and kitchen facilities is permitted.

Triple/Quad

Rooms Ideal for Families Double Bed-2 Twin Beds-Ensuite Bath Room # 11 - very large first floor family room which has been divided up to provide two rooms, a lobby and a bathroom all within the same room. The double room has double bed and two relaxing chairs, TV, hospitality tray and other usual modern day amenities. The smaller room has two single beds. The lobby has a fridge, telephone with modem plug and wardrobes. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower attachment. Ideal for a family with older children. Room #21 - very large 2nd floor family room with en suite bathroom with shower attachment. The room has a double bed and two single beds as well as two relaxing chairs and a small fridge, TV, telephone with modem plug, hospitality tray and other usual modern tray amenities. Room #33 - very large 3rd floor family room with amenities exactly as #21 above.

Four Poster Double

Standard Single

Triple Room

These rooms are situated either on the ground or third floor and have been divided up to provide a lounge and separate bedroom. The twin room has two single beds with usual modern day amenities. The lounge has a sofabed, TV, fridge, telephone with modem plug. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower attachment - ideal for some privacy.

Directions

From Airport - Follow signs for Marble Arch-Down M4 to Hyde Park Round About. Go north on Park Lane sign posted for Marble Arch. At Marble Arch, take the Oxford St exit. 200 Meters along turn left on Portman St, which turns in Portman Sq and then into Gloucester Place. Wigmore is the second building along Gloucester Place. The address being 23 Gloucester Place.
