Originally built in the 1600s as a Coaching Inn - the Hare and Hounds Hotel is privately owned by Jonathan and Jean Nelsey - who have converted the historic inn and stables into accommodation with 30 bedrooms. The restaurant is located on-site in the original coaching inn - and provides a range of traditional cuisine using local produce. Conveniently located within a mile of the centre of Newbury and the many corporate businesses. The famous Newbury Race Course is 2 miles from the hotel and the famous Parasampia Golf Course is half a mile from the hotel. Easily accessible from the A34 and M4 and close to Donnington Castle - Windmill Theatre and the famous Kennet and Avon Canal with its horse drawn carriages.

Exit Bristol airport and head into Bristol City. Go through the centre of Bristol City and head out on the M32 North and exit onto the M4 West bound. Location - Ground Floor. Cuisine - Traditional with local produce. Hours - Breakfast - 7am - 9am last orders Monday to Friday and week-ends is 8am to 9.30am including public holidays. Lunch - 12pm mid-day to 2pm last orders. Dinner - 6.30pm to 9pm last orders. Dress Code - Casual.
