The Invicta Hotel is a friendly family run 3 Star Hotel built circa 1845. It is a Grade II Listed Building and many of its Georgian architectural features still remain. Situated on the famous Plymouth Hoe, commanding views across The Hoe Park and Bowling Green. Sea views to the right and on a clear day into Dartmoor, what a wonderful location. Centrally located to all amenities the city centre and the historic Barbican with its Edwardian, winding narrow lanes are but 2-3 minutes walk. For those of you travelling to France or Spain the Brittany ferry port is 2 minutes by car. The hotel accommodation offers twenty-three fully en-suite rooms comprising of single, double, twin and family rooms with executive rooms located on the first floor. Each room includes tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, colour television and radio, direct dial telephone and BT Broadband internet access. Directions

From North/East by Car From M5 take Devon Expressway A38 to Plymouth. Come off at Marshmills roundabout. Follow signs to City Centre A374. At 1st major roundabout filter left and follow signs to The Hoe And Barbican. Just after the second set of traffic lights filter left towards The Hoe And Barbican. Turn left at mini roundabout. Road bends sharply follow round into Notte Street. At fourth set of traffic lights turn left into Lockyer Street. Follow road to crossroads. You will see the Invicta on the corner to your right. Car Parking is at rear of hotel. From West by car Follow A38 Devon Express way to Marshmills roundabout. Follow above directions. Hotel is just half a mile from Brittany Ferries port from which Roscoff, France And Santander, Spain can be reached. Leave port and turn right at first roundabout. At second roundabout take third exit followed by an immediate left into Citadel Road. Hotel is on the corner of the fifth road on the right.

Situated adjacent to the Hotel Foyer, the Mariners restaurant is used daily for Breakfast service between 7.00am - 9.00am during the week and 8.00am to 9.30am Saturdays and Sundays. The Mariners Restaurant can also be used for luncheons and dinners. Partners Restaurant has recently been accredited with a Blue Ribbon Dining Award for its freshly produced menu which has been inspired by local produce and specially and thoughtfully selected Wine List. With its own well stocked bar the non-smoking restaurant is licensed for 80 people, but for comfort we hold up to 45 covers for lunch or dinner as we at the Invicta Hotel believe that the table is booked for the entire afternoon/evening, not just for the enjoyment of the superb food. With Full a la carte and table d hote menus, Partners restaurant offers an abundance of choice. Lounge Bar - For those who prefer a lighter meal, The Invicta Hotel also offers a Snack Attack Menu available between 12 noon and 10.00pm daily.

The Invicta Hotel can be used for private functions and meetings. The restaurant is licensed for up to 80 people, but for comfort we recommend a maximum of 65 people for a buffet or 45 for a formal sit down banquet or meeting. Located under the hotel, Partners restaurant has its own bar and facilities so can be used separate from or in conjunction with The Invicta Hotel. We provide a complimentary flip chart for meetings and are able to hire any other equipment requested. Tea, Coffee and Luncheon can also be arranged upon request.
