Burley Manor Hotel is the jewel in the crown of the New Forest and has enjoyed many regal connections throughout its long history. Parts of the estate were probably laid out in Saxon times and must have existed before the Doomsday Book was compiled in 1086. Later - for nearly 200 years - Burley was a Royal Manor.
