Hawkstone Park Hotel, set in 400 acres of idyllic North Shropshire Parkland, with 66 en suite bedrooms. The hotel was originally built in 1790 as an inn to entertain visitors to Hawkstone Park and Follies, one of the greatest historical parklands of Britain - described as a woodland fantasy of hidden pathways, concealed grottos, spectacular cliffs, secret tunnels and a remarkable collection of Follies. Follow in the footsteps of golfing legend Sandy Lyle who learned his game at Hawkstone Park. The stunning landscape provides golfers of all standards a wonderful contrast with two championship courses and a six hole par 3 academy course. The Hawkstone Restaurant offers a high standard of freshly prepared cuisine. The Terrace Bar and restaurant offers a more informal menu, serving drinks and food throughout the day, providing a great place to relax after a round. The hotel also makes an ideal base for touring the area. As well as many local attractions, guests can enjoy the nearby medieval town of Shrewsbury, the historic city of Chester and the Welsh Borders.
