The Melbreak Hotel is a family run motel style country house hotel set in 3 acres of idyllic grounds on the western edge of the Lake District. The Hotel boasts dramatic panoramic views across this constantly changing landscape to the Loweswater valley and mountains beyond, and to the rugged coastline of the Solway Firth. Nearby is Workington and the Cumbrian Coast. This is a handy location for both business visitors and holiday makers, being close to the A66, the main route through the North Lakes. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones and colour tv. Most rooms overlook the mountains and fells. The Lounge Bar is enjoyed by residents and locals alike and is an ideal place to relax after a busy day out and about.
