Ross Lake House Hotel is a wonderful Georgian house set in the magnificent wilderness of Connemara, Co. Galway, battleground of the O'Flahertys and the De Burgos (now Burkes) of ancient times. The splendid house stands serenely in its estate of woods and gardens beckoning the world weary with its own refreshing charm. The Georgian theme is carried through the furnishings, fitments and fabrics from the top of the house to the front door. From the moment you arrive, Henry and Elaine will make you feel at home. The intimate bar is ideal for a drink before dinner. A high quality Irish menu is delightfully prepared and presented featuring a tempting variety of fresh produce from the nearby Connemara hills, as well as fish straight from the Atlantic.
