At the Hotel Quartier Suisse, we offer the aura of the Levant while providing the guests with the modern comfort and the sophisticated service that is nowadays expected by the international traveller. Flatscreen LCD televisions, wireless internet access and international television channels are just as much a part of the Hotel Quartier Suisse as immaculately restored antique furniture and perfectly mixed cocktails. Our 17 room boutique hotel uses mainly locally-made decoration, ranging from contemporary paintings by Lebanese artists to decorative soap, jam, and objets dinterets made by family enterprises in the surrounding area. The furniture is partly Arabian in style and party European in style, reflecting the importance of Lebanon as the intersection between the Orient and the Occident. We combine this ambiance with a European management to deliver a distinguished international level of service.

Deluxe room

Deluxe room with seperate living room area, king bed, balcony, city or valley view This room has a seperate living room area and a large balcony facing the city. It has a two meter by two meter king bed, a flatscreen LCD television, satellite channels, in-room safe, wireless internet access, a minibar, heating and air conditioning. It is either on the first or second floor and is available as a smoking and a non-smoking room.

Standard room

Standard room with king or twin bed, balcony, view, AC, flatscreen TV, minibar, internet. All of our charming standard rooms come equipped with flatscreen LCD televisions, satellite channels (Astra, Hotebird and NIlesat), a minibar, wireless internet access and an in-room safe. All also have a balcony, some of which look over the valley and others towards the city. There are also some connecting rooms with two doors between the connection (these rooms have a valley view). These rooms are available as smoking or non-smoking rooms.

Suite

Suite with seperate bedroom, valley view, balcony, two TVs, wireles internet These suites, situated on the first and second floors have one bedroom and one living room. The balcony faces over a valley in the Mount Lebanon range and has sun all day long. The living room has antique furniture in a European style. Both rooms have airconditioning, telephones and LCD flatscreen televisions. A minibar and wireless internet access is also available. There are both smoking and non-smoking rooms available.

Directions

Coming from the south or the Bekaa valley, head towards Hazmieh and then towards the Mkalles roundabout. From there, take the road up towards Beit Mary and Broummana. When in Broummana take the right road at the Grand Hills hotel. After another 5 minutes of driving you will find the Hotel Quartier Suisse on the right side just before the roads join again at the end of Broummana. Coming from the north, exit at Jdeideh just before Beirut and take the new highway up to Broummana. Exit at Broummana and follow the road. Take the left turn when the roads split and the right when you go on the main road (now you are only 150 metres away). Follow the main road left when it splits and we are directly there.

The hotel's restaurant Le Mirage offers the best South East Asian cuisine in Lebanon. We grow part of our own vegetables and use high quality ingredients for the rest. A breakfast buffet is also available and included in the room rate for up to two persons. Lebanese cuisine is very well represented in the area with some of the most famous restaurants such as Fakhreddine, Bourj al Hamam and arguably the best Lebanese restaurant in the country, Mounir, being only minutes away.
