Room Information

San Jose Suite

This suite with king bed has panoramic ocean and city views. It has a large window seat with lovely views which are also visible from the bed. The small armoire to your right as you enter is Mexican circa 1900. On the wall to the left of the bed is a painting of San Jose with Christ Child circa 1750 during Mexicos Colonial period. The white dove in the background represents the Holy Spirit.

Angels View Suite

This commodious suite with king size bed features garden and ocean views as well as access to a large terrace with panoramic views. The Mexican painting of San Jose with Christ Child circa 1890 is in its original hand carved frame and was found in Pueblo in 1960.

Garden of Angels

This suite has a king size bed and lovely garden views. It is on the same level as the swimming pool with its broad vistas of the town and Bay of Banderas. The nude sketch in the bathroom of this suite is by famed Mexican artist Ernest Munoz Acosta- circa 1965 and was exhibited at the Palais Royale in Paris.

Angels Dome

This beautiful suite features a dome over the queen size bed and another over the bathroom. The ceiling in between is painted with angels and doves. It has a city and partial ocean view from the bed as well as from its private balcony. Among the very special details of this suite is a lovely Meican oil painting of Crowned Mary and Crowned Christ Child- circa 1750. Next to it is a Victorian Armoire- circa 1880.

San Gabriel Suite

Crown View Suite

This lovely suite with a queen size bed features a large private balcony with a view of the Crown of the Cathedral of Guadalupe- where you can enjoy viewing Puerto Vallarta s spectacular sunsets. It also features a beautiful Mexican oil painting of the Virgin Mary- circa 1910- as well as a Renaissance Revival Armoire- circa 1880. Above the bed is a large French Crystal Wall Sconce- circa 1890. In its private bath- there is a deep marble bathtub and one wall of the bathroom is filled with niches-each containing a candle- making it one of the most romantic bathrooms you are likely to find.

Serafin Suite

This spacious suite adjoins the villa s central courtyard with its lovely fountain. It features a queen size bed as well as a spacious sitting area, with a sofa-actually a double bed- which is partially recessed into an alcove in the very thick wall. It can be pulled out at night-if desired-for extra sleeping space. Among the exquisite details in this suite is a hand-carved wooden piece framing a grouping of niches above the sofa which contains various saints. This wooden piece comes from a private chapel of a demolished hacienda in Guanajuato. The Victorian Dresser is circa 1900.

Vista De Santos

This suite with king bed has beautiful ocean views. The huge terrace which is shared with another suite also has spectacular ocean and city views. The large armoire is French-circa 1900 and the chair is Spanish - circa 1890. On the wall is a Mexican painting of the Sagrado Corazon de Maria- circa 1830.

Casas Campanas

This one bedroom villa with its close-up view of the cathedral and Banderas Bay features a king-sized bed-salon-dining room-kitchenette and several terraces-one cradling a private hot tub. The exquisite nineteenth-century antiques include a Rectory table-carousel camel and a Mexican trunk-as well as Persian carpets-wall sconces and crystal chandeliers. This suite offers complete privacy.

Las Cruces Suite

This beautifully decorated and spacious suite with its lovely 19th Century antiques has a view of the cathedral and ocean from one of its two private balconies. The second balcony overlooks the bubbling fountain in the courtyard below. It features a king bed and its large bathroom has a claw foot bathtub as well as a shower.

La Sacrista

Features two private terraces with panoramic views of the city and bay-one of which is accessed by a lovely wrought iron spiral staircase. This ample suite has a king bed and in the bathroom-antique marble columns form the middle arch of the beautiful bathtub and shower.

San Francisco Suite

This suite has a queen size bed and is off the courtyard of Villa I. Above its entry is a 16th Century French Gothic steeple and inside is a beautiful 18th Century painting of Joan of Arc.

Rincon de Angeles

This large suite has a king bed-two balconies-a private terrace and great ocean and city views. As you go through the arched opening before entering the suite there is a painting of San Migel circa 1910 in its original frame. Inside the niche to the right is a large armoire which is English, circa 1900. The full image Mexican painting of the Immaculate Virgin is circa 1880 and is also in the original frame.

San Miguel Suite

This suite has a king size bed and panoramic views of the town and bay. You may also enjoy the sitting area just outside the bedroom with its own jacuzzi and large terrace where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular view. Above the bed is a 1920s copy of the famous Monja Coronada from the main cathedral in Guadalajara. The large mirror next to the Victorian chair has a lovingly hand-carved frame from a cathedral circa 1860. At the foot of the bed there is a Mexican Baul of Mesquite wood-circa 1800- and the television is in a Mexican armoire circa 1900.

Celestial Suite

This large suite with queen size bed has a fabulous view and includes a private sitting area under a large palapa with its own bar. The large silk tapestry is 17th Century and there is also an exquisite Venetian Chandelier circa 1850

Milagra Suite

This ample suite with king size bed has direct access to a terrace with panoramic views. The bronze busts in the niches are French-circa 1870- and on the wall is a 19th Century Mexican tapestry depicting the ascension of Christ done in silver milagro-miracle-representations.

The kitchen prepares dishes familiar to its international clientele steak, ravioli, grilled filet of fish, soups and salads all the while using local ingredients and spices, especially Mexico?s myriad chilies, to give diners a sense of place, as well as to give new interest to some old favorites. You will have the pleasure to dine in your own suite or three different unique dining areas within the property. One with a spectular view of the city-mountains-and ocean with a unforgettable sunset-one dining area surrounded by gardens with the sounds of two fountains or one in the common area surrounding by lush tropical plants and the sound of water from the one fountain.
