The hotel is an important example of architectural art nouveau and has been a listed building since 1972. Most hotel guest rooms were renovated in the winter of 2007. Starting from January 2008, we will only have non smoking rooms. Cafe Americain - The Cafe Americain as you see her today was opened in 1902. The Tiffany lamps, the murals featuring Shakespeare's Midsummer night's dreams and the reading table are all original characteristics of the Cafe Americain.
