The Star is the latest addition to a Cape May family that already includes Congress Hall, the old town's most famous hotel, and the Virginia, a luxury boutique hotel.

From New York (APPROX 3 hours): Exit Manhattan to New Jersey Turnpike. Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 11 for the Garden State Parkway. Take the GS Parkway to the end, Exit '0', to 109 South. Follow 109 over the Cape May bridge onto Lafayette Street. Follow Lafayette approximately 2 miles to stop sign at Jackson Street. Turn left onto Jackson, and make an immediate right turn onto Mansion Street. Continue to stop sign and turn left onto Perry Street. Make first right onto Congress Place, and turn left into the reception area. All guests check in at Congress Hall. From Philadelphia (APPROX 1 hr, 45 min.): Walt Whitman Bridge to 42 South, to Atlantic City Expressway East. Take the A.C. Expressway to the Garden State Parkway south. G.S. Parkway to end, Exit '0', to 109 South, Follow Route 109 over the Cape May bridge onto Lafayette Street. Follow Lafayette Street approximately 1.5 miles until you dead end at Jackson Street. Turn left onto Jackson Street and immediately turn right onto Mansion Street. Continue to stop sign and turn left onto Perry Street. Make first right onto Congress Place and turn left into hotel reception area. All guests check-in at Congress Hall. From Washington/Baltimore (APPROX 3 hrs): Take 95 North to Delaware Memorial Bridge. Follow Route 40 East to Route 55 South to end (at Route 47 South). Take 47 South to the Garden State Parkway South. Follow the Garden State Parkway South to end, to 109 South. Follow 109 South over the Cape May bridge onto Lafayette Street. Follow Lafayette approximately 2 miles to stop sign at Jackson Street and make an immediate right onto Mansion Street. Continue to the stop sign and make a left onto Perry Street. Make the first right onto congress Place, and left into the reception area. All guests check in at Congress Hall. From the Cape May-Lewes Ferry (APPROX 10 min.): From the Ferry Terminal in North cape May, follow the signs for 109 South and the Garden State Parkway. Take 109 South over the Cape May bridge and onto Lafayette Street. Follow Lafayette approximately 2 miles to stop sign at Jackson Street. Make a left onto Jackson, and an immediate right onto Mansion Street. Continue until stop sign, and make a left onto Perry Street. At the first right, Congress Place, Turn and make a left into the reception area. All guests check in at Congress Hall.

Spend the afternoon at Cape May Point, taking in the nature trails and natural flora & fauna. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the covered recreation areas while relaxing away from the hustle of downtown. Just a 10 minute drive to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, where a peaceful 90 minute ride awaits you. Upon disembarking in Lewes, shop at Rehoboth Beach's many fine retail outlets.

Many activities that occur all year long include birding & nature studies, deep sea fishing and dolphin/whale watching, Wander through Cape May's one-of-a-kind shops or relax with a lemonade on the promenade. Several golf courses are within a few minutes' drive. Kayaking & salt marsh tours are avaiable in season.
