The Treaty House at Waitangi is within 10 driving distance, Swim with the Dolphins and Hole in the Rock cruises can be organised from the wharf which is 400 metres from the Hotel. Cape Reinga and the 90 mile beach bus tour which is for an entire day can be arranged from the hotel.Russell the earlier Capital of New Zealand is just a short ferry ride accross the harbour. Trips to the world famous Rainbow Warrior, Game fishing, and Yatch charters can be arranged by the Hotel Reception desk. KeriKeri which is famous for its citrus fruits, chocolate factory and Keri blue ceramics is within 20 to 25 minutes driving distance. Kauri Museum and forest is within 2 hours driving distance from the hotel and a must see for all visitors to the Bay of Islands
