In February, enjoy the Bald Eagle Conference held locally. We have the largest concentration of wintering Bald Eagles in the contiguous 48 states. April is the peak of the spring waterfowl migration thereby offering an excellent opportunity for bird watching in the numerous surrounding wildlife preserve. The Klamath Memorial Rodeo & Pow Wow takes place in May and is followed in June by the Great Northwest Pro Rodeo. Crater Lake is the picturesque setting for the rim run and marathon bearing its name each year in August, which is also the month for Klamath Tribes Restoration Celebration.
