The Balmer Lawn is a magnificent country house hotel set right in the heart of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. Situated on the edge of the charming village of Brockenhurst, the Balmer Lawn is the perfect destination for romantic escapes, relaxing getaways, family adventures, weddings and corporate events. The Balmer Lawn has one of the highest AA 3 Star ratings in the New Forest. We have 55 en-suite rooms, with enough range to suit all requirements from leisure guests, families to business travellers. Each room is individually designed and decorated to give it a unique feel and atmosphere, with all the modern touches you would expect. Many rooms offer breathtaking views across the Forest while some afford balcony access. Residential guests have full access to leisure facilities.

Directions

We are eight miles from M27 Junction 1. When you come off of the motorway, follow signs to Lyndhurst and then Brockenhurst. The hotel is on the left as you approach Brockenhurst, and is clearly visible from the road.

The beautiful New Forest Villages of Brockenhurst, Burley, Beaulieu, Lymington and Lyndhurst offer a wide range of individual shops for all tastes. The larger centres of Bournemouth, Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury offer a greater and more comprehensive range of facilities. There are stately homes and museums at Beaulieu, Romsey and Breamore with many more within a short drive away. Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway Sir Harold Hillier Gardens Braxton Herb and Rose Garden Also within easy reach are 7 miles of sandy beaches stretching from Christchurch, through Bournemouth to Poole.

Balmer Lawn has an outdoor and indoor pool. Sauna and Jacuzzi. Fully equipped gym with a personal trainer available. The Hotel has excellent sporting facilities including a squash court and an all weather tennis court. Rackets can be loaned from Reception. Table tennis is available in the squash court and croquet can be played on the Hotel's lawns. In addition to the excellent facilities offered at the Hotel there are numerous other activities close to hand. Also available in the local area are: Horse Riding, Sailing, Golf, Shooting and Fishing, Climbing, Archery and Indoor Skiing.
