About Miami

For over one hundred years, Miami has been the Sunshine State's crown jewel. Even in its early years, Miami was known as "America's Sun Porch". The humidity in the summer months is high, and there are often afternoon rain showers. The winters are mild and sunny with daytime temperatures in the 70 degree range, evenings are pleasant and cool. With its fragrant tropical weather, and relaxing ocean breezes, Miami offers endless fun for the travel enthusiast.

Miami's Cultural Mixture

But Miami is so much more. In recent years Miami has become home to people from all over the region. Culturally, Miami is rich with museums and historical sites, tropical gardens, and even an ancient Spanish Monastery.

For the sportsman in you, Miami has many outstanding golf courses, sports arenas, and professional ball clubs. For the kids, you will find a wealth of water parks, zoos, and aquariums.
